Mukesh: Yes, that is maturing in 2013. Since it is maturing next year, there is not much I am going to do about it.

Swati asks: So Manoj, how is this plan? What should he do? He is very disappointed with the fund value.

Manoj: Yes this is a child plan. If he exits now, he will have to book losses as fund value is less than the premiums he has paid. And there are only 4-5 years to go. Check wit the company if you can continue with the plan without paying any further premiums. He seems to have taken only savings plans. He should have a term insurance plan.
