Insurance company has denied our appeal again saying unless doctors can prove 3D conformal treatment is going to kill her, then will not approve IMRT. With 3D conformal treatment, they cannot treat her lymph nodes around her groin area that are suspicious (not showing up in CT or PET scan but swollen and hard) due to increased toxicity doctor do not want to put into her body. I know a lady who DID NOT get her lymph nodes treated for her cancer. She thought she was cured. Now cancer is in her lymph nodes, lungs and liver. I know that means not much in a way of statistical significance or whatever to the insurance company. But would I take a chance of letting that happen to my wife? Absolutely not!

My wife has colon cancer. It is so bad that the tumor is almost completely blocking her colon. So it is an urgent matter.
